4th Annual Pickleball Benefit Tournament, June 20-22, 2025

Thank you for your interest in the 4th Annual Newberg YL Pickleball Tournament. This is a benefit event for the non-profit organization, Newberg Young Life. A significant portion of your registration fee is tax deductible and of course all donations and sponsorships are a tax write-off. Thank you for your support!
By registering you agree to play in this benefit pickleball tournament at your own risk. If for some reason the weather does not cooperate, this event will be rescheduled or fees will be refunded.

If building of Jaquith courts has begun we will play at Newberg High School, 2400 Douglas Ave, Newberg. OR 97132. This will be clearly communicated in emails sent to all players prior to tournament.

*Groups will be split by age when numbers permit; cut off age may change. Please take this into consideration when registering. You may play against someone younger or older than you.
GAME FORMAT
3.0 Events, Singles & Junior: Round-Robin standard play with playoffs for 1st/2nd/3rd place Minimum of 4 games per team (competitor for singles). All games played to 11 or 15 points depending on number of teams.
3.5 Team Event: Teams will be made up of two men and two women. Each round one team will face off against another, playing one men's, one woman's, and two mixed doubles games. The round is won by the team with the most wins. Once all rounds have been played the top teams will move on to a playoff round! Scoring: regular to 11 or 15 points. Ties in medal rounds will be determined by point differential or a tiebreak playoff game to 11 with all team members participating (mixed doubles game that switches players once either team gets to 6 points).
4.0, 4.25 & 4.5+ Team Event: Teams will be made up of two men and two women. Each round one team will face off against another, playing one men's, one woman's, and two mixed doubles games. The round is won by the team with the most wins. Once all rounds have been played the top teams will move on to a playoff round! Scoring: rally to 21 points (win by 2, winning team has to win on their serve). Ties in medal rounds will be determined by point differential or a playoff game with all team members participating (mixed doubles game that switches players once either team reaches 10 points).

Scores from this tournament will be entered into DUPR. By signing up for this tournament you agree to have the scores from this tournament entered into DUPR.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: JUNE 15th
COST: early registration fee: $65 PER PLAYER (no additional costs unless you want to help with processing fees, participate in another event, sponsor or donate)
Additional event: $15 per player/event
JUNIOR OPEN Event: $40
CANCELLATION DEADLINE: JUNE 15th, after this date no refunds will be given, prior to this date refunds will be determined on a case by case situation.

This sponsorship covers the cost of the courts for the tournament plus contributes to Newberg Young Life. We are hoping for 5 court sponsors. The Golden Pickle | $1,000
Representing the elusive score that very few players experience (11-0-2). This sponsorship helps cover the expenses of the tournament as well as contributes directly to Newberg Young Life. We are seeking 7 sponsors at this level.If this donation is being given by your business you will receive verbal, emailed and posted exposure on a banner at the tournament with your logo and business name. If this gift is being given in honor of someone we can list that information as desired.
The Pickle | $500
The score we enjoy or hate in pickleball (0-11-1). This sponsorship helps cover the cost of the courts & prizes as well as contributes directly to Newberg Young Life. We are seeking 10 sponsors at this level.If this donation is being given by your business you will receive verbal, emailed and posted exposure on a banner at the tournament with your logo and business name. If this gift is being given in honor of someone we can list that information as desired.
Ball Sponsor | $200
This sponsorship pays for the balls that will be used during the tournament. We are seeking 12 sponsors of balls. If this donation is being given by your business you will receive verbal and posted in tournament baskets exposure of your logo and business name. If this gift is being given in honor of someone we can list that information as desired.
Doubles Team Sponsor | $130
This donation will cover the entry of 2 players in one event. You can designate who the players are or allow the tournament director to give this as a scholarship to play in the tournament (usually offered to in need students).
Player Sponsor | $65
This gift will cover the entry of one player in one event. You can designate who the player is or allow the tournament director to give this as a scholarship to play in the tournament (usually offered to in need students).
